Graphology is recognized as a science not only by intellectual elite, but also more and more by general public now.
Graphology is a science, because it bases on the facts, which were researched. It bases on it's own laws and by the careful analysis defines elements of the letter and makes conclusions. It also is an art, in which each graphologist uses his or her unique experience and carries out the interpretation of the signs detected by him in handwriting.
The experience of graphologist does not consist only in knowledge of movements and forms in handwriting, but it is also outcome from the knowledge of psychology and culture.
We know, that the handwriting is a mirror of all strengths and delicacies of its author. The theory and practice of graphology in a major degree depends on study and development so-called "humanitarian sciences ", so as graphologist should be capable to recognize, through variety of strokes, property of nature (physical and psychological), intelligence and moral appearance of the author.
We can not divide physical and psychological aspects of the human personality. Each of them interacts with other.
It is necessary to know how to recognize in handwriting a heredity, derivation, and traits of character of the person in all of his unique individuality.
The most important thing in a graphology is, that carefully peering again and again in the letter should to retrieve the particular signs. When graphologist researches handwriting, it is easy to understand, whether it is major either small, low or lengthy, quiet or agitated, rough either refined, heavy or mild etc. the Beginner or amateur can easily do it, and will be satisfied, by that that they saw everything, that should be remarked. More experienced graphologist will never try to make a conclusion about something before he will collect all characteristics of the letter and interpretes them in correlation one another.
As Crepieux-Jamin has told: "the value of the graphological signs is relative, as the same movement can be made by various reasons. The experience of graphologist consists of a choice among many possible interpretations most necessary in the psychological attitude."
The signs in handwriting - like "syndromes" in medicine - simply signs, which there will be messages us back to determination of a reason. Only precise determination allows us to make exact characterologic conclusions concerning the author, which is the purpose of a graphology.
The graphology is applied in a professional alining to an estimation traits of character of the person and his psychological characteristic to assist in determination of that sphere of activity, where the person can more successfully realize himself and achieve the best outcomes.
The graphology is used for an estimation of mutual compatibility of the partners: the marital partners, partners on business etc.
The significance of graphology in consultation on particular psychological problems of the person is great.
